The Loose Tea Variety Pack contains 6 different types of black tea.

If you have ever wondered what is the taste difference between BOP and FOP grades of tea this pack is for you. The Loose Tea Variety Pack contains both grades of English Breakfast Tea so you can see for yourself how the size of tea leaf affects the intensity and flavour of the brew.

As well as our best selling Bristol Tea, the pack contains Russian Caravan, Irish Breakfast and the highest grade Nilgiri Teas

This variety pack contains the following :

English Breakfast Tea BOP (50g)

This broken orange pekoe grade blend of Assam and Ceyon teas will make a nice strong cup of tea.

English Breakfast Tea FOP (50g) 

With larger whole leaves, this higher grade tea delivers a more delicate flavour than its BOP counterpart.

Irish Breakfast Tea BOP (50g)

A traditional blend of strong broken orange pekoe loose leaf teas from Assam and Ceylon.

Using slighlty more Assam than Ceylon tea this makes a stronger cup of tea than traditional English Breakfast Tea.

Russian Caravan Tea  (50g)

Despite the name not a Russian tea at all! Russian Caravan tea is a blend of China teas named after the ancient trading routes where camel caravans brought tea into Europe across Russia.

An aromatic tea with a hint of smoke. 

Nilgiri SFTGFOP1 (50g)

A strong single origin leaf tea from the Nilgiri Hills, or Blue Mountains, in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Readers of our informative newsletter will know that SFTGFOP1 grade tea is the highest you can get. It stands for Super Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1 

If you are looking for a tea that is less astringent that Darjeeling and lighter than Assam, then the fragrant smooth flavour of Nilgiri tea will delight.
